Health Advocate Services
With all the conflicting health information floating around, it can be difficult to find accurate information. Do you just need to ask a few questions? We offer 15 min, 30 min, 45 min and hourly consultations to help you make informed decisions regarding your health.
Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis
Do you have questions concerning your blood test? Have you been told that your lab results are normal but yet you still feel that something is wrong? We analyze your results from a functional perspective to help uncover issues that may not be caught by current assessment techniques.
If desired, we can provide a personalized comprehensive report detailing issues such as oxygenation/iron status, GI health, blood sugar regulation, adrenal health, immune system functionality, cardiovascular risk, thyroid health, liver/kidney/gallbladder health, hydration status, and inflammation.
Additional diagnostic testing may be recommended based on our findings.
Genetic Testing & Nutrigenomics
Even though we can’t change our genes, we may have the ability to turn genes on/off as well as adjust the levels at which they work. About 70% of our genes may be controlled with diet and lifestyle changes. We utilize genetic testing via 23andme to determine potential genetic weaknesses. If we determine that your genes are indeed affecting function, we utilize Nutrigenomics to determine the best way to support you.
Advanced Functional Medicine Testing Assessment
During this assessment, will will review your test results and develop a dietary/supplement protocol if necessary.
Are you feeling great and just interested in improving your diet? In this assessment, we look at your current dietary intake, test for food sensitivities and nutrient status, determine your metabolic type, and discuss eating strategies to help keep your blood sugar balanced in order to develop the best diet for your biochemistry.
Endocrinology and Metabolic Assessment
We explore the health of each system and their interactions throughout the body since dysfunction in one system may affect the function in another. Neurotransmitter status is important since they are responsible for more than just mood and can affect health throughout the body.
Never before in our history have we been exposed to so many new chemicals and physical stressors such as electromagnetic fields (EMF), smog, and a contaminated water and food supply. Even our vitamins which are designed to help us may contain harmful excipients or additives.
During this consultation, we determine your current level of toxicity and provide a protocol to help your body start to detoxify pollutants which may be detrimental to your health.
